Lot’s of fun things!

First of all I like to announce last month’s winner of the Pasta-Challenge. We had such a great dishes; it was really difficult to choose. For this month our challenge is all about the Stampede. For me the Stampede brings a taste of burgers to my mind. I have never really enjoyed burgers however I now have my own favourite: the lamb burger with feta sauce stuffed in a pita bread. I love to know your favourite!

Last week I met with Jenn from Casel Marche. They organize weekly Interactive Mondays for groups from the community. We are invited to join for a dinner at their bistro. This event will take place at August 20th, doors open at 6 pm, dinner starts at 7 pm. We have 10 seats, they go to the first 10 signed up (and paid) members of the Culinary Calgary site! A three course meal incl. wine pairing by J.J. Webb. This evening starts off with some wine tasting. You also get 10% discount at the Casel Marche Market!

In cities such as Ottawa and New York this yearly event is a great success!
