100 year Oreo’s! Oreo Cupcakes

This year we celebrate the hundred year anniversary of the Oreo Cookie. This cookie was first made by National Biscuit Company (NaBisCo) in 1912.

No one seems to know where the name Oreo comes from, some people say it comes from “or” which means gold in French. But where ever it got its name from the Oreo cookie is a very popular cookie, since 1912 more then 362 billion cookies have been sold!

In honour of the Oreo cookie I made these easy and delicious muffins filled with Oreo cookies.
